UNESCO declared the “land of songs and saints” a World Heritage Site to preserve its wall and its old town. The visit starts from the Visitor Reception Center, from where we continue to the neighboring Basilica of San Vicente. We already entered the walled perimeter through the Puerta del Peso de la Harina: numerous Renaissance palaces, the Cathedral, the Church of San Juan, the Birthplace of Santa Teresa, etc. await us.

The visit can be complemented to a Full Day visiting other places of interest in the afternoon: Walks along the wall from the Puerta del Alcázar, Royal Monastery of Santo Tomás, Romanesque churches such as San Andrés or San Martín, Polentinos Palace, …
